Remedies For Acne

Acne can leave deep emotional scars for some teen’s, especially if their acne is severe. But there is good news- there are natural remedies that can be used to help deal with acne. Start with a good diet and hygiene, avoid high sugary foods, dairy products, fried foods, and white flour. Eat plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables, and drink lots of water.

Drink herbal teas, and only natural fruit juices. Try a steam facial with chamomile and rosemary flowers- this will prevent inflammation. It loosens dead skin cells and allows the oil to flow as well as it opens the pores.

Tea Tree OIl- use it as a disinfectant and it stops the growth of bacteria. Dab on your face several times after you have steamed or after showering. Apply it for 5-10 minutes on the infected area.

Strawberry Mask- this mask will help soothe the skin because the strawberries can help relieve inflammation caused by the acne. Just take a tbsp of fresh strawberries, 2 tbsp of sour cream and 1 tbsp of honey.

Mix and apply every day for at least a week and leave it on for 20-30 minutes,. If you are allergic to strawberries, don’t use this mask.
