Since having iodine in our diets are essential to our good health, lacking this vital mineral can cause havoc within our bodies.
One problem is hyperthyroidism- which can cause infertility, joint pain, heart disease, and even stroke.
All from having low iodine levels, and it is also associated with breast and thyroid cancers.
In children an insufficient amount of iodine has been linked to mental retardation, deafness,
attention deficient and hyperactivity disorder plus impaired growth.
It has been noted that some reasons due to a lack of iodine deficiency besides diet, is that many
people are exposed to radiation emitted by cell phones, microwave ovens, Wi-Fi and other electronic items.
